Frank is my eraser.

A while ago, one of my teachers asked our class if we ever 'finish' our erasers, meaning wear them down so much that we can't use them anymore. Most of the class said no, they get lost or replaced. The teacher then suggested that we should track our eraser usage - to see how far we can get before the eraser becomes lost, replaced, or unusable.

Challenge accepted.

I decided that if I'm tracking Frank's size, then I should definitely make it public to allow everyone (all 0 people who are interested in erasers) to follow along! I contacted Frank, my eraser, and asked him if he was okay going public. He agreed, and this blog was born. Ever since May 2018, I have been regularly keeping track of Frank and how big he is.

Heading into Finals...

Over the past few days, I haven't used Frank very much. In history class, we had a video-drawing assignment as our final project, but that's about all I've used frank for in the past few days. As you could probably guess, Frank's stats haven't changed much since my last measurement. Stats (highlights indicate changes): Length: 4.60cm Height: 2.45cm Width: 1.15cm Weight: 17g Notable notes: Frank has a crack on his left side that is starting to become more pronounced. See a picture below. Starting Thursday morning, my final exams start, and I anticipate that Frank will wear down quite a bit during that time. Finals start on Thursday, May 24 and continue the 31st. As usual, check back next Sunday for updates on Frank's stats. Next week will be halfway through finals, so, again, I think he'll be worn down quite a bit. See you next Sunday!

Meet Frank!

Frank is the eraser that I have been using for a few months. However, before now, I had not been tracking Frank's progress as he wears down. It was suggested to me that I track Frank's wear, and I thought it would be a great idea to make that tracking public. Who doesn't want to see the life of an eraser? Below are Frank's first photos: Frank poses for the camera. Frank with his office buddies. I've talked a bit with Frank, and he's very excited to publicize his life. He even offered to occasionally dress up! Here are Frank's starting stats: Length: 4.70cm Height: 2.45cm Width: 1.15cm Weight: 17g Notable notes: He has a few scars gained from regular use, but that's what makes him unique.
